A Voronoi diagram is an organic way of partitioning a plane or 3D space. It is a pattern commonly seen in nature (mud cracks, giraffe spots, colony growth, etc), and also pops up in other areas of science.

Construction
- Take a set of random points in 2D or 3D space.
- Around each point draw a small circle/sphere
- Expand all circles/spheres simultaneously until they contact an adjacent circle/sphere
This cube was made using Grasshopper/Rhino by generating a 3D voronoi pattern and thickening the edges of intersection.
